Trouble Sleeping
Sleep help from the experts
Healthcare & MedicalTrouble Sleeping is a specialist sleep consultancy founded in 2006 by sleep expert Dr Lindsay Browning. Lindsay works alongside sleep specialist Liz Sorrell to provide evidence-based, practical sleep support. We are passionate about helping people understand and improve their sleep, whether that means overcoming a long-standing sleep problem or optimising sleep to support better health, wellbeing and performance. Ultimately, we want to help people sleep better so they can feel and function at their best.
Why we do it
Sleep has a fundamental impact on our health, wellbeing and ability to function at our best, yet sleep problems are extremely common and there is a huge amount of confusing and misleading information about sleep. We offer expert, evidence-based sleep support that is accessible and practical, to help people understand their sleep, address difficulties and make changes that can genuinely improve their lives.
What we help with
We help people overcome sleep difficulties and get the best from their sleep. We provide one-to-one sleep consultations and CBT-I for insomnia, as well as personalised support for people looking to optimise their sleep, wellbeing and performance. We also deliver engaging talks, webinars, workshops and training, and develop bespoke sleep programmes and consultancy for organisations across workplace wellbeing, education, elite sport, and sleep tourism and hospitality.
Who we work with
We work with people at every stage of life, from children and teenagers through to adults of all ages, as well as businesses, schools and organisations across a wide range of sectors. Our work has included supporting corporate teams and shift workers, leading schools, professional footballers and elite athletes, as well as organisations within the travel, tourism and hospitality industries. We love the variety of our work and the opportunity to bring high-quality sleep science into very different settings, making it relevant, engaging and genuinely useful to the people we work with.
